TANAP

The Tatra National Park is located in the north of Slovakia on the border with Poland. The mountains are part of the Carpathian chain. In my two days here I did two hikes, one near to Stary Smokovec where I stayed and another to the west near to Štrbske Pleso.

Levoča and around

Levoča is small walled town in the Spiš region of Slovakia. The nearby village of Spišsky Podhradie has a spectacular castle on the hill above it. The Slovensky Raj national park is also nearby. The city of Košice lies to the south east near the borders of Ukraine and Hungary.
