Solukhumbu is the district of Nepal which contains the Sagarmatha national park, home to the highest peak in the world, Chhomolungma, Sagarmatha, Mt. Everest. After almost a month in the Annapurna region, Kanchha and I came to trek in the Khumbu region with our porter Bhoj Kumar Tamang. We started in Lukla after a flight from Kathmandu and over the next few weeks explored the Gokyo valley, the Chhukhung valley and Thame.
